I have tried to give an in depth history of my breeding
and hope it will be of interest to all Ibizan Hound
enthusiasts around the world.
I am Bernadette Stoneham and I live in rural Wales.
I currently have two Ibizan hounds in residence
Living here is ideal for walking the dogs and they
are able to free run every day.
I have owned and bred Ibizans since 1974. My first venture into sight hounds came in 1973 in the form of a Pharaoh Hound Divels Badja. This bitch becoming a champion at Crufts in 1977.The first year CC’s were on offer for Ibizan hounds. I also won the CC & BOB with my first Ibizan bitch Ch Divels Nana. Nana became the foundation of my breeding. I have not been a prolific breeder, breeding quality not quantity. Breeding a litter once every four years on average and becoming

18 times in all.
